Our urgent needs
Dear friends!
Today I would like to tell you what has happened to us in the past 3 weeks and unfortunately ask for help again.
1. A urgent need ti help some cats
I have already written that I have a new cat in quarantine. After the quarantine I wanted to bring him to the cats I already have.

But three days ago I took a new cat again. In was already evening and a family came and asked to take the cat, they found it on the highway. The Russian highway is not like the German one, it's not as smooth and you don't drive as fast there, but fast enough to kill a small cat.
I took such a beauty to me. She is still under stress, one cheek is swollen and she has small scars on her chin and under her nose. I've wormed her, de-flea'd her and given her immune medication. Hopefully she is not carrying a dangerous disease.
But the next day I got a call: 5 cats were abandoned after the death of their master. The children inherited their father's house and simply threw his cats away.
Here are the poor ones:

They want to live! And winter is coming soon. For us, winter usually starts in November. And in the winter months -20 degrees Celciusis more the norm, although -30 to -35 can also often occur. For domestic cats who suddenly have to spend the winter on the street, this means a certain death.
But I can't bring so many cats to those who already live in the shelter. It would be too much and not good for any animal. So I've decided to start a new cat room.I have a little house where I am now preparing everything, especially the electricity and radiators. Soon the poor cats will be able to move in with me.

2. Teddy and Ajna

I still haven't collected enough money for these 2 Alabajs, who are in great danger. I triede to finde a home fpor them and have found another man who would like to take them. But we have made enquiries. The man often likes to take large dogs. and then they die after about a month. What does he do with the dogs? I have no way of knowing, but there are very bad rumors. That's why the woman who holds Alabajs niw asked him not to give them to him.
I can't sleep well anymore because I'm thinking all the time about how I can save the two giants. I've thought about it, asked around. And: I can make an old hutch a bit firmer and keep Teddy there, like in a kennel. And I can make an enclosure for Ajna, out of metal instead of wood.
They won't be able to smash metal. I have calculated that the two enclosures could cost much less if Vitali builds them. I need about 300 euros for Teddy and 420 for Ajna, which is not that much compared to the 1600 euros I have to pay for a finished enclosure.
Please help me to save these 2!We still have about 2 months, maybe a little more, but time is running out and it may be too late.
At the moment we gatherd 75 Euros for the both dogs.
4. and we were faced with a challenge: I don't know whether to laugh or cry... but we have been left without hot water in all parts of the shelter...

Today our water boiler broke down.It can't be used anymore, there is a danger of explosion. 2 weeks ago the socket in the cat house was on fire. This happened when Ljudmila wanted to heat up water to clean the cats room...
and last week the stove Vitali was using to boil the water to wash the buckets we use to collect leftovers broke down...
The stove Vitali uses is still boiling, but the water is coming out.It can have bad consequences. The new stove doesn't cost much, only 15 euros. And I've already bought it, Vitali is delighted. I was also able to buy the small stove. And a volunteer even installed the new safe socket for us.
But the boiler in the apartment is a big problem.I think everyone understands that a lot of cleaning has to be done where a lot of animals live. But cleaning with cold water is not so good... I called the gas company. The cheapest boiler costs 135 euros. But it's not so safe and can break down soon. The cheapest boiler, which can work for longer, costs 175 euros. In both cases I still have to pay 15 euros for installation.
I'm a bit desperate and don't know what to do...
But despite all the difficulties, it goes on and the animals know nothing of my problems, which keep me awake at night. They just enjoy the last warm days of the year.
