More than 3,000 life-saving tourniquets acquired

Over the Christmas holidays we were able to organize a large order with a total of 3,100 tourniquets. Our Ukrainian partners from the Leleka Foundation procured the life-saving vein presses directly from the manufacturer SICH. Tourniquets from the Ukrainian producer are certified and have proven to be very reliable.



This important delivery was made possible thanks to the #TQ4UA fundraising campaign by political scientist Jessica Berlin. Thanks to her initiative, the majority of the 43,000 euros for this order were quickly collected.



Delivery will begin shortly as demand continues to be high. Each tourniquet saves a human life and is therefore part of the personal equipment of all defenders in Ukraine. The delivery will also be used to replenish emergency backpacks and first aid kits for paramedics and emergency physicians.



Fundraising continues on Betterplace because Russia continues its campaign of extermination with undiminished severity and reliable bandage material is urgently needed.
