Über uns
Global Orphans Education Trust is a non profit organization that operates in Kamuli and Jinja Districts in Eastern region of Uganda since 2010. The organization is working hand in hand with the less privileged people at the community-level, people living with HIV/AIDS, needy families and children with special needs. GOET focuses on working with grassroot people in communities by providing counseling and educating them about HIV/AIDS awareness, care, prevention and treatment; we also distribute food items, medication and other necessities of life to the sick and vulnerable children though home-based health care, support orphans and vulnerable children to access quality education and to utilize their talents to become better citizens we also support the elderly who care for the children under our support

Donations that cannot be used for the project
Dear donors,
when managers of a project haven't requested a payout over the course of a longer period, the German law and our terms of use provide that we (gut.org gemeinnützige AG, operator of betterplace.org) use the money for our tax-deductible purposes. The same applies to the cancellation of a project, where the manager of the project is unable to realize it.
Therefore we will use these donations for the following purposes
