To precisely introduce our organization 'Orissa State Volunteers and Social Workers Association' (OSVSWA) and activities that we have been immensely implementing from last 30 years as an action based research organization and working with broad vision of eradicating poverty in the state of Orissa in India through effectively and efficiently undertaking many developmental initiatives for the development of poor, destitute, marginalized, disadvantaged group of people, women with priority, youth and children through providing them support and build their capacities on different aspects of their own and society’s development. We have been working with may issues including preservation of nature and natural resources, sustainable agriculture, food security, rural transport, community media, community governance, climate change, gender equality, action for youth, ICT for development, Education and networking etc.
