What started out as a few Libyan citizens interested in bringing about change through the establishment of a non-governmental organization in Tripoli, Libya in 2009, has become a global effort to bring relief and opportunities to the Libyan people. At this most critical point in history we need your help to help those who need help!

The mission of the Libya Foundation has always been the betterment and advancement of the Libyan people.

At this historic moment in history there has been no better time to help, and our organization is devoted to ensuring that your donation will make a difference in the lives of those who need help!
The Libya Foundation works on the ground in Libya for the betterment of its citizenry. The organization does so through collaboration with the government, public, and private sectors both in Libya and abroad through supporting projects and initiatives for the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
When?

The organization has been providing services to the public since 2009 in Libya such as job search, training programs, English language, and general tutoring services.

The assistance focused on aiding Libyans in job placement with international corporations and in reviewing, revising, and setting up interviews, in order to allow them to prosper in supporting their families.

Since the Feb. 17th 2011 revolution we have also begun to refocus the organization and are now working on humanitarian relief programs to aid all Libyans.

Provides services in the following areas:

* Humanitarian Relief
* Economic Development
* Education
* Health

The organization was created to work as partner within the country to promote economic growth, education, and health care advances within Libya. We had partnered with such agencies as the Libya Youth Council, Social Affairs, and others.

Our motto has always been, “Be the change you want to see,” and thus if we do not work and create, no one will do that for us.

Headquartered in Tripoli, Libya, with offices in the U.S., we aim to serve the entire country. Once things are stabilized InshAllah we will be able to support the various regions across our beloved country.

Our programs and projects are across all areas in Libya, and we work inside and outside of Libya.
