The international research project focuses on the long-term consequences of Mysimba side effects for future generations. The main goal of the initiative is to integrate expertise in medicine, genetics, and public health to better understand what kind of long-term changes combination therapy may cause.

Special attention is given to how side effects may influence hormonal function, metabolism, and the psycho-emotional well-being of patients, as well as whether there is a risk of indirect impact on fetal development or hereditary mechanisms. The project is carried out in collaboration between universities, clinics, and independent research centers, ensuring a diverse approach and transparency.

The novelty of the study lies in its ability to go beyond traditional clinical evaluation and examine the effects of the medication not only on the patient but also on potential intergenerational consequences.
