Über uns

The Kwitne Queer initiative was launched in December 2022, when Ukrainian activists decided to form a team and create the first independent Ukrainian LGBT community in Germany. Since then, we have been working tirelessly on a voluntary basis to strengthen, expand and support the Ukrainian queer community in Germany.
In August 2024, Kwitne Queer e.V. finally received the official status of a non-profit organisation and became a member of the Alliance of Ukrainian Organisations.
Our mission:
The mission of Kwitne Queer e.V. is to promote equal opportunities, support and inclusion for queer Ukrainians in Germany and to strengthen their social life and cooperation. We are an independent organisation that unites like-minded people and upholds the values of equality and mutual understanding.
