WICOT Uganda is a community-based organisation working with organised groups of young women in Bututi Sub County in Kyenjojo District that started in 2020 to promote economic opportunities among vulnerable women by providing training, and resources to help women start businesses that will enable them to support their families especially their children.

WICOT’s mission is to empower women and girls to become financially independent and create sustainable solutions to their economic needs.
WICOT envisions “a world where women are empowered to create economic opportunities for themselves and their families”.

WICOT’s goal is to provide women with the necessary tools and resources to become financially independent. Through our various programs, we seek to equip women with the skills to develop their own businesses and create meaningful and sustainable livelihoods.
