SECOND CHANCE TANZANIA (SCT) is a registered NGO under Non-Governmental Organization Act 2002 with registration number OONGO/R/3112 in 19th April, 2022. SECOND CHANCE TANZANIA (SCT) is established to support Government efforts towards sustainable development. Despite progress and government efforts, undernutrition, climatic change, shortage of water and stunting remains a significant problem in Tanzania. The Government of Tanzania has demonstrated its commitment to nutrition through the National Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Action Plan (NMNAP) complemented by sectoral and cross-cutting policies, frameworks, and structures. Different National plans confirm the Government of Tanzania’s commitment to reduce stunting, climatic change and shortage of water. SECOND CHANCE TANZANIA (SCT) will contribute to different national plans through incorporation of local community members and others stakeholders in the process of creating sustainable nutrition, sustainable WASH and sustainable economic.
