The BUEA Mutual health organisation is an apolitical, non profit making, community based solidarity, micro-health financing organization being owned and manage by it members. The Buea mutual health is operating on the principle of risk sharing and mutual assistance against health related risks with registration number SW/GP/30/08/6822. The main objective is to over come financial barriers of the population to quality healthcare. The Buea mutual health organization has up to 3100 beneficiaries and has assisted members by paying 75% to 100% of their hospital bills.100% coverage for people living with HIV/AIDS. Buea mutual health organization has paid members hospital bills of about $16000 in three years of existence.
To become a member of Buea mutual health organisation, you pay an adherent fee of ($3) for your family or a group of 4 to 10 persons and an annual premium of $8 for each member in your household or group.this initiative is technically suported by the german technical cooperation (gtz)

Donations that cannot be used for the project
Dear donors,
when managers of a project haven't requested a payout over the course of a longer period, the German law and our terms of use provide that we (gut.org gemeinnützige AG, operator of betterplace.org) use the money for our tax-deductible purposes. The same applies to the cancellation of a project, where the manager of the project is unable to realize it.
Therefore we will use these donations for the following purposes
