The community Kamyaak is setting an example in taking action for the well being, dignity, and the empowerment of disatvanaged communities by locals,for locals and worldwide. In order to find solutions for challenges posed by climate change, social justice, poverty, and exodus. With the project "Kamyaak Village" we are working towards other perspectives in the conception of development (environmentally, socially and culturally) in Africa.
We think that communities can contribute positively to nowadays challenges.
We believe that the best way to deconstruct ethnocentrisim and racism is through encouters, understanding of the Other and oneself.The communities around Kamyaak Village are part of our daily activities, which include tie dye, permaculture garden, manufacturing of soap and the production of coffee. Behind Kamyaak sits the Association JIWNIT which exists since 2018, based in Senegal,German and France. We are a hand full of young, passionate,energetic locals and internationals.
