Über uns
We are a non-profit community-based organization working to strengthen the livelihoods of refugees and host community residents through education, agriculture, Skills for Life and other community projects. It was founded in Kakuma refugee camp on the 30th of June 2015 by refugee youths from the DRCongo, Somali and Sudan. We are officially registered and recognised by the government of Kenya.
Our vision is to create a sustainable refugee community where everyone realizes their value, reduces hunger and where non-violence, children and women have equality of empowerment in place.
Our core values
1. Hospitality and Closeness drive us to accompany and welcome the most vulnerable people (Women, disabled, old age, and children).
2. Responsibility and commitment: inspire us to be accountable to the people we serve and spend our time to make sure they benefit from what they deserve at the right time.
3. Dignity and justice: drive us to respect all refugees and members of the host community.
