The voice of refugee and immigrant women and other marginalized gender groups from communities of color, and their lived experience are the ones who so often get neglected among the heated political debates about discrimination in Germany.
Not only they have to be burdened by all sorts of discrimination and racism on the path of migration, but they often have to suffer the invasion on their bodies and existence in silence, especially being repeatedly exposed to sexist treatment and sexual violence inside and outside their community. They are not believed and affirmed among their own community, nor by the performative activists, nor the humanitarian NGOs and institutions, and on top of that neither by the German state’s legal system.
