The Foundation is committed to children with the skin condition EB (Epidermolysis Bullosa). This hereditary, very serious and incurable skin condition manifests itself in unbearable pain, peeling skin, blisters and itching. This is because the adhesion of the different skin layers is disrupted, which creates friction between the 'loose' skin layers.

A team of researchers from the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG), led by Dr. Marieke Bolling, conducts internationally acclaimed research into the healing possibilities on a daily basis.
