Social Education and Environmental Development Scheme (SEEDS) Trust is a non-governmental, non-profit making voluntary, Civil Society and social service organization established in 1997 under Indian Charitable Trust Act of 1882.SEEDS Trust is the outcome of planning and execution of projects for the development and improvement in the living standard of people and promotion of environmental conditions by a team of likeminded social workers. The government machinery is unable to fulfill the needs of several sections of our society. Hence the establishment of a new body as non-governmental organization can work with the people and take decisions to implement it quickly. The activities of the programmes are in aligning with the millennium development goals of United Nations. Ending poverty, providing basic education to all, abolition of child labour practice, providing the necessary skills to face the challenges of twenty first century, work for the conservation of nature.
