Sridec is a non-profit cooperation to Contributing to a just society through empowering the Community in Sri Lanka.
The idea was born after the Tsunami in 2004. Initial ad-hoc help developed into a long-term project and the foundation of the first free Pre-School in Beruwala, Sri Lanka in 2006 to help poor families in the community of Walatara. The School provides classes for up to 100 children as well as educational classes for adults for almost 15 years now.
