Background
Africa Center for Inclusive Development (ACID-GHANA) is an indigenous non-governmental organization operating in the Northern part of Ghana. The organization has its main office in the Tamale metropolis and a project office in Nanumba North, which also serves the Nanumba South and Kpandai districts. Additionally, the organization is working in Nanton and the Sagnarigu municipality within the northern region. Through extensive research, the organization has observed that proper human development programs havefailed to address the exact needs of vulnerable people over the years. The formation of the organization was also based on the need of vulnerable people to be able to build sustainable skillswithin their communities that will help improve their standards of living.
