Marat Dauletbayev, human rights defender’s Address (Baikonur Cosmodrome)
We are kindly asking you to extend the “Global Magnitsky Act” to Russian officials of the Baikonur Cosmodrome and the ROSCOSMOS - Federal Space agency of the Russian Federation who are involved in a crime against human rights and have been persecuting Marat Dauletbayev, a human rights defender, for years.
Marat Dauletbayev, a human rights defender, has been peacefully fighting for the termination of the commercial/retail leases for the Baikonur complex for many years, as an anti-national and anti-constitutional Treaty prejudicing the rights of local citizens of Kazakhstan, leading to the creation of a Russian enclave on Kazakhstan land.
