 Who We Are:
VULNERABILITY & ILLITERACY REDUCTION Organization (VIR) is a Cambodian non-governmental organization, unaffiliated to any political party, entity, organization or business. VIR was established, registered, and recognized by the Ministry of Interior on September 8th, 2005. VIR has been built on the core values of love, concern, justice, peace, unity, sharing and brotherhood. VIR assists the poor, disadvantaged, displaced, marginalized, and impoverished people of Cambodia. VIR works in solidarity with all individuals and organizations of good will and similar vision to promote the development of poor and impoverished people, foster charity, justice, and peace in Cambodia and the world. VIR assists the poor solely on the basis of need, not creed, race, or nationality, and maintains strict standards of efficiency and accountability.
