The Lebanese Association for Diabetes Research (LADR) is a NGO localized in Lebanon. The association has two main objectives: support research on Diabetes and promote scientific methods of awareness. the research domain includes teaching existing experimental procedures, demonstrating new experimental procedures and designing new experiments on various body tissues in order to find novel therapies for this disease. LADR will also rely upon scientific methods to spread awareness. That is, tangible means that provide the community with tools in order to adopt new procedures and be able to respond accordingly, especially for the cases that include children with diabetes. We are recently incorporating in our studies Syrian refugees within the Lebanese camps who suffer from diabetes, as well as the undiagnosed cases of diabetes in such environments.
