Global Medicare Foundation's mission is to expand access to healthcare and empower local communities to tackle today’s most pressing health challenges. GMF works more with rural areas where there is the absence of a health care facility; we identify health needs and work with local communities and people of good will to support to address these health challenges.
Our work involves doing baseline surveys to point out particular health problems that a community of village can face, examine possibilities of resolving the problem and providing solutions. We have been existing now for the past 4 years and have been able to touch the lives of more than 5000 people most of whom live in small villages with little or no access to health facilities. We encourage a spirit of humanitarianism, awareness, and a long-term commitment to ending health disparities amongst students, village communities and the general population at large.
