Integrated Community Health Initiative Organization (ICHIO) Uganda is a registered and licensed local NGO Uganda. Its major objective is to have an Empowered Health and Productive Communities. ICHIO Uganda is committed to serving the vulnerable communities of congregate settings like the slums (urban poor), islands, landing sites, school, prisons, camps and alike. It has four thematic areas of operation that is WASH, Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) control, HIV/TB and drug/substance abuse control. We are currently implementing WASH project integrated with HIV/AIDS awareness campaign using the house to house sensitization strategy thus reaching all persons at their respective homes, and ensuring full community participation from the planning to the final implementation phase.
