Project Esperança is a Civil Society Organization of Public Interest, what operates by charity, non-profit and for an indeterminate time. The project is run by volunteer groups and it also benefits from her partnerships, including other NGO's, churches and organizations who are specialized in health, theatre, sports and social welfare.

Its working methodology is guided on the assumption of the human being as a complex and multifaceted being, whose biological, psychological, social and spiritual dimensions need attention to become an integrated whole. Thus, all the developed activities are helping to generate attention to each of these dimensions.
