Über uns
Green Care Association(GCA) was established in 1998 as a registered Cameroon association. It is based in Shisong, Bui Division of the North West Region. The main objectives of GCA promotion of Sustainable Agriculture, Environmental Best Practices, Community Development, Nonconventional Livestock, and Water Catchment Protection. Green Care works with local farmers, and farming groups, along with other local and international institutions and also volunteers.
GCA offers trainings in Bee farming, Tree nursery, Mushroom cultivation, Rapid Yam set multiplication and pasture improvement. Recently it has been setting up demonstration farms to facilitate remote farmenrs understand faster and put to practice trainings received.
It helps in organising the planting of trees in community forest and water catchments with concern groups and organisations, alongside the Kumbo Council "One Child One Tree" project.
GCA is a local and international award winning organisation and is changing many poor cultural farming practices because its on doing in the field.

Donations that cannot be used for the project
Dear donors,
when managers of a project haven't requested a payout over the course of a longer period, the German law and our terms of use provide that we (gut.org gemeinnützige AG, operator of betterplace.org) use the money for our tax-deductible purposes. The same applies to the cancellation of a project, where the manager of the project is unable to realize it.
Therefore we will use these donations for the following purposes
