We are a community development project working for the people of the informal settlement (squatter camp). The inhabitants live in corrugated iron shacks and many survive on a very low budget of R 30.00 per day per household (about 5 € per day).
Our main focus is on the children - we feed, clothe and care for 40-50 children - run a kindergarden, feeding scheme and help develop platforms for sustainability in the community.
One of our aspects is the food garden where we grow vegeables for the feeding scheme, for the families of the children and also for sale to local restaurants in the future.
