Society for Launching Action Centered Education (SOLACE) Trust was promoted and started by a group of forward social minded youths with the mission of “Empowering Disadvantaged Section of society through education and united action” by the community irrespective of caste, creed, religion, region, gender or ethnicity. It was started in 1991 and registered under the Indian Trust Act, 1881. It is women headed NGO managed by a Board of Trustees of 7 women working for the cause and concern of oppressed, marginalized and voice less rural women in Ramanathapuram, Madurai and Theni Districts in Tamil Nadu, India.
