Batul society is non profit committed to empower destitute and disadvantaged women of Kashmir out of extreme poverty, exploitation and discrimination through handcraft training and employment, and skills acquisition ensuring sustainable livelihood.
Batul work in the following field , women empowerment, vocational and skills training for young women, care for widow and aged women, community development, education and health care
Kashmir being a military conflict zone did throw some serious societal challenges to the society on the whole ; crime, injustice, exploitation , extreme poverty ,discrimination , sexual Abuse and many more are the challenges facing women and girls in Kashmir.
To help and assist poor, destitute, young girls , widows and deserted young women,including married and aged of the community, BATUL has established training and production units in Kashmir handicrafts for the benefit of the affected women, to help provide employment , empowerment and source of livelihood.
To help poor children of the Kashmir have better future Batul Sociey have a project of providing and supporting the education of children, we take complete care of their education including school fees, schools supplies , school bags and books etc.
The training, employment and empowerment Batul Society provides to these women, have brought about great social changes within the tribal/rural areas of
Kashmir, India
We need all kinds of supports and assistance to help us continue serving bettering the lives of destitute and disadvantaged women of Kashmir.
