INTERNAP Cameroon is a not for profit organization crated in 2004 in Yaounde Cameroon working in local communities of the South West, North West and West Regions of Cameroon.

Vision:
A World without HIV and AIDS Suffering and death, where everyone is living healthy and happy with equal opportunity.

Our Mission:
Reduce the impact of HIV and AIDS on women and the populations in local communities in Cameroon through the promotion of Gender Equality and Advancement of Sociocultural, Educational and Economic Statues of women and girls.

Objectives:
-Educate, Empower Women and Girls and give them voice and power in public decision-making, control over income and ownership of assets like lands, capitals etc. in view of reducing their exposure to HIV and AIDS.

-Mobilize Community Members and Traditional policy-makers against harmful traditional practices perpetuated on women and girls and open dialogue with them on the importance of educating the girl child.

-Advocate for increased free and decentralized access to quality treatment, care and support for people living with HIV and AIDS, particularly women, orphans and vulnerable children from local/ national policy-makers and concerned international community.
-Provide youth, boys and girls with skills building on leadership as a strategy to break gender gaps between boys and girls and prevent HIV infection


INTERNAP strives to archive its mission by providing educational support to orphan girls heading households and supporting HIV positive women with economic empowerment and to give them voice in participation in decision making at all levels.

INTERNAP's Hope for women and girls' Infected and Affected by HIV and AIDS program, based in Menji has brought together 100 women living with HIV/AIDS for trainings on income generation and nutritional support.

Further, girls infected and affected are being train on human rights as a strategy to give them voice in participation in decision making.

We have initially bought an oil milling machine which is generating income to support women living with HIV and AIDS and this funds will enable us buy another new one to increase the production capacity to support more HIV positive women.
