This is a non profit, non political and non partisan society based organization,initiated to work together with like-minded strong partners to established Rescue and rehabilitation center for street children and youths, founded by former street boy Mr. Dancan Omondi Omollo.
Established and registered on the year 2006.
Aims to improve the overall wellbeing of them in Kisumu city by using any valuable resources at their disposal, some of these resources include basic human wants like – food, clothing and shelter amongst others.
Kesboys provide shelter,support,society,care,counseling,Rehabilitation.guidance and spiritual nourishment for these children who are often orphans and are most certainly vulnerable.
Has a mission of helping current street youths to have bright future and Aim to turn children and adolescents of the streets into productive citizens involved in the betterment of the community.for younger children our emphasis is on education.

Kisumu Ex-street boys (KESBOYS) project was established in the year 2006 and got registered under the government children department of social services on the same year. The group was formed under the leadership of Dancan Omondi as a result of an inspiration to help his fellow street children to change to a better normal life. He had the vision and then shared with like-minded street kids to establish the organization.

Basically the organization focus on the rehabilitation program that changes the world of street children and vulnerable youths in away of transforming them into better life. this approach is known as holistic approach where by they are engaged into worthwhile activities like; Home based care (food, clothes& shelter), Education support(uniform stationeries& school fees), Appropriate training of skills and talent development(training fees and workshop seminar, Sports(football, music instrument& transportation), outreach streets/ street children families visit (transport & medical care) and I.G.A(income generating activities),Re integrating back to origin homes/community(transportation).

KESBOYS RESCUE HOME

KESBOYS since started has located the cycle system that has been caring for 69children directly in the home compound.

In 2010 we had a total number of 38children. The numbers reduced due to lack of adequate support. It was costing us 2 Euros per child per day for the general upkeep. We have been privileged to have 34 children under our care this year 2011.

KESBOYS FOOTBAL CLUB.

Under sports department, we formed this soccer team, basically to build and nurture football talents in the lives of these street children. The team is divided into 2teams which are arranged according to their ages. We have under 12 categories and under 16.

As of now, the two teams are engaged in the ongoing league under KYFA (Kisumu Youth Football Association). We have a total number of 48matches to plays until October 2011. Only 3matches have been played. The needs assessment in football is just too overwhelming. Ranges from, First Aid kits, transportation, feeding program, balls and other soccer equipment(uniforms and shoes (boots)e.t.c.

We also nurture music talents under the program of P.A (Performing Art).Here we are looking at talent in Drama, singing, and Art & Craft)

It is in the strength of these needs that we are seeking for any possible support of any kind.
