The Association for Protection, Breeding and Researching of Animals, „ZOO PLANET“ is a non-governmental, nonpolitical and non-profit Association, founded on July 6th, 2009. It consists of young members who tend to fulfill their ideas as well as the goals of the Association. „ZOO PLANET“ has the professional stuff in the field of veterinary medicine, ornithology, ethology, and animal lovers who, by their engagement, contribute to the more quality realization of ideas and goals and improvement of natural habitat in local community and region.
The aim of the Association is popularization of breeding small and exotic animals by members, which are used for educations, raising awareness among children and youth through various workshops, panels and TV programs for animal welfare, and improving people’s attitude towards animals. „ZOO PLANET“ is committed to the preservation and control of wild and endangered animals in the local community and region, for caring for injured and orphaned wild animals, their treatment and return to nature, and for opening shelters for wild and protected species and educational zoo park in which children, youth and all citizens will be able to learn and to get information about animals, their protection and preservation of their habitats.
Through various educations and workshops, we will help people overcome their fear of animals and through practice and spending time with animals, we will teach them how to treat animals.
The Association for Protection, Breeding and Research of Animals, „ZOO PLANET“ until now had been rescued more than 2000 wild animals.
