Vijana Amani Pamoja is an organization based in Kenya, formed in 2000, with the vision of giving important life and social values to the youth from Nairobi's slums through the power of football.
Kenya has been fighting against permanently growing number of HIV positive people, VAP works in areas of Nairobi with one of the highest rates of HIV/AIDS infected and affected youth. Young people from the ages of 14-25 years are particularly at risk for engaging in behaviors that may lead to them to contracting HIV/AIDS.
VAP uses football as an educational tool and employs innovative methods and skills for preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS.
