Über uns

The TRUST IN THE LORD LIVING CHURCH and TRUST IN THE LORD FOUNDATION, INC. group of people who are working under one vision: To make our community particularly the children disciples of Christ through biblical and academic education.

To understand our group, allow us to share with you our brief history:
The TRUST IN THE LORD LIVING CHURCH formerly Trust In The Lord Christian Fellowship, a non-stock, non-profit organization, created for the sake of the salvation of Christ, was established way back 1988 in a vacant lot in Castillo St., San Isidro Subdivision, Pamplona 1, Las Piñas City. Under a verbal agreement with the late Fiscal Castillo, the Church was allowed to use the lot as long as it is needed. From then, the Church improved the land by planting trees and plants and did some beautification. A series of crusades within the vicinity and Home Bible Studies were held, thus, transforming the lives of those who attended and eventually became members of the Church. The Church also did charitable works in the neighborhood. To extend more services to the community as a tool of bringing people to Christ, the Church organized a Foundation last 2004 with the following purposes:

1. To provide Biblical and Academic Education for less fortunate children.
2. To provide non-formal education for elementary and secondary system.
3. To educate learners’ parent, guardian and immediate family with family Christian living to uplift their moral, social and economic status.

The foundation received recognition from Department of Education [DepEd] as Service Provider in its commitment to the promotion and implementation of the NonFormal Education Accreditation and Equivalency Learning Support Delivery System [NFE A&E LSDS]. Also, the Trust in the Lord Foundation, Inc. is presently extending financial assistance to selected learners.

“ISKUL NG BAYAN PARA SA KINABUKASAN” is in line with the foundation’s purposes which offer alternative education through the learning modules and electronic modules provided by the DepEd’s ALS – Alternative Learning System and eSkwela, instructional media programs and curriculum being designed and developed by the foundation and PACEs – Packet of Accelerated Christian Education under the system of School of Tomorrow, Philippines. This is for all poor children whose parents are in agreement with the vision “TO SEE FILIPINO PEOPLE PROSPER THROUGH EMPOWERING THEIR TRUE IDENTITY”, thus making themselves indeed ‘partners.’
Also, we are offering Pre-Reading and Reading Class for 4 to 8 years old from economically-challenged families and providing them group and individual reinforcement contextualizing the appropriate curriculum based on their daily activities that will lead them to love and continuously love learning through reading and real experience.

This year we will be serving approximately 50 learners with their families plus working out-of-school youth and adults who are not yet finish with their elementary and secondary levels. We are on our 8th year of serving our community and in reality the service we provide needs monetary support and resources.
