Thousands of children and their families in Nothern Mali, are fleeing their homes as rebels take control of 3 northern states Kidal, Gao and Timbuktu. Roughly more than 1 million families are affected; at least half of them are women and children. The people are in a desperate condition and needs humanitarian assistance like food, shelter and clothing.
The current climatic conditions makes matter worse as temperatures now in those areas goes up above 40° F.
