X-mas Charity Stream 2023

THE SAME PROCEDURE AS EVERY YEAR:

Barefut (aka DJ Bärenfut) & DJ Messiah will be back again this Christmas to raise money for a good cause. Believe it or not, already for the 5th time! We will start our christmas journey at 10am and play until we see the star of Bethlehem. Expect trashy outfits selected with the questionable taste of a horder, music from producers which earned nothing on spotify this year and decoration cheaper than your mums Christmas outfit.


SPECIAL GUEST:

Again, Barefut will not be streaming alone. The direct relative of one of the Three Kings and dangerously handsome savior will be accompanied by infamous DJ Messiah (aka Newal Turim) from the Belgian outskirts of Brussels who is giving up his heavenly attire to amuse you for a special day of celebration and donation. Together we will heal your lost souls and cure your pain with Zirbenschnaps, Sekt auf Ice and music sweeter than Belgian waffles.


THE CHARITY PROJECTS:

Since attention can not be measured, we would like to use this occasion to bring yours to ongoing crises which did not stop the moment the global coverage did. But enough of criticizing media sensationalism! With this year’s stream we will support Morocco, dealing with the aftermath of a devastating earthquake, as well as long-term projects comitted to helping refugees in Greece and Poland.

Natural disasters, poverty, hunger and wars are forcing more and more people around the world to leave their homes. Those who do make it to the territory of the EU often find themselves in catastrophic living conditions. Instead of being housed in a humane manner, they have to survive in overcrowded camps, in public squares, in forests or in abandoned buildings. These people lack everything as food and drinking water are limited, as is access to medical care. For more info check out their page on betterplace:

In September this year, the worst earthquake in an entire century occurred in Morocco. With a magnitude of 6.8, entire villages have been destroyed and some of the affected areas are very remote and difficult to reach. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), more than 300,000 people have been affected by the earthquake. Large-scale rescue and emergency relief operations are being carried out to rescue more people in need. For more info check out their page on betterplace:
