Green City ist ein Verein, der sich für mehr Umweltschutz in München einsetzt. Dabei gibt es verschiedene Projekte zu Themen wie nachhaltige Mobilität und Bildung, Klimaschutz, Stadtbegrünung, usw. und auch politische Arbeit. Den Verein gibt es schon seit über 30 Jahren und es wurde auch schon einiges erreicht: z.B. der Radentscheid für eine bessere Radinfrastruktur in München, Umwandlung der Sendlinger Straße in eine Fußgängerzone, das Streetlife Festival und die Blade Night wurden auch von Green City ins Leben gerufen. Green City is an association that works for more environmental protection in Munich. There are various projects on topics such as sustainable mobility and education, climate protection, urban greening, etc. and also political work. The association has been in existence for over 30 years and has already achieved quite a bit: e.g. the bicycle referendum for a better bicycle infrastructure in Munich, conversion of Sendlinger Straße into a pedestrian zone, the Streetlife Festival and the Blade Night were also initiated by Green City.
