🇩🇪 Liebe Unterstützerinnen und Unterstützer,

Am 23. Juli startete ich um 22:00 Uhr in Geraardsbergen beim Transcontinental Race TCRNo9.

Vielen Dank Euch allen, die mir während des Rennens über den Liveblog, Instagram, oder dem Livetrack des Veranstalters gefolgt seid. Es war beeindruckend, wie viele von Euch mitgefiebert haben. Ohne Euch hätte ich es sicherlich nicht bis ins Ziel geschafft. Mit rund 14 1/2 Tagen landete ich sogar innerhalb des Zeitlimits im Klassement. Davon hatte ich zwar geträumt, aber es nicht wirklich für realistisch gehalten.

Ich werde in den kommenden Tagen noch weitere Artikel veröffentlichen, bevor es Ende September beim Iberia Traversa querfeldein von den Pyrenäen bis nach Tarifa an der Südspitze Spanien weiter geht.

🇺🇸 Dear supporters,

On July 23rd I started at 22:00 in Geraardsbergen at the Transcontinental Race TCRNo9.

Thank you to all of you who followed me during the race via the liveblog, Instagram, or the live track of the organizer. It was impressive how many of you joined in the excitement. Without you, I certainly wouldn't have made it to the finish line. With about 14 1/2 days I even ended up within the time limit in the classification. I had dreamed of this, but didn't really think it was realistic.

I will publish more articles in the coming days before I continue the Iberia Traversa cross-country from the Pyrenees to Tarifa at the southern tip of Spain at the end of September.
