Daily Report 6 

Yesterday has been a really long and busy day. Therefore, the report comes today. I left Maastricht yesterday morning and set off towards cologne. The weather was really hot and I got into a thunderstorm right in the middle of my ride, which slowed me down a little. Whatsoever, I reached cologne in the early afternoon where I was welcomed by malteserinternational and malteserdeutschland to learn more about the project in Tanzania and the people supporting me on my ride. After some great conversations I set off again towards my stop of the day in Remagen. Shortly after Bonn I was already welcomed by friends of the German Red Cross Remagen, who I know from the past, with some isotonic drinks to give me a boost for the last few miles. It was greatly appreciated to see that friendship still continues for many years and support is always available. 

Tagesbericht 6 

Da gestern ein ereignisreicher und langer Tag war kommt heute erst der Bericht. Von Maastricht ging es über die Grenze Richtung Köln. Unterwegs bin ich aber in ein Gewitter gekommen, was mich etwas verlangsamt hat. In Köln wurde ich von malteserinternational und malteserdeutschland empfangen um mehr über das Projekt in Tansania und dir Leute die mich hinter den Kulissen unterstützen zu erfahren. Nach tollen Gesprächen ging es dann für mich weiter zum Tagesstopp Remagen. Kurz hinter Bonn und wurde ich bereits von Freunden des DRK Remagen, welche ich von früher kenne, mit isotonischen Getränken empfangen um mir für die letzten Kilometer einen Boost zu geben. Es ist schön zu sehen, wie Freundschaft besteht und Hilfe immer verfügbar ist.
