You will RELAX!!!
Monday night is swimming lesson night .. if I'm in the country, not in a meeting etc etc ... so not quite like being back at school. I mean as I kid I wouldn't have considered rewarding myself with a G&T after a hard swim.
The good news is that Adam, my teacher, is very pleased with the progress of my breastroke technique. I am finding progress on my front crawl much more patchy. Actually Adam is pleased with that too although we both agree that more progress is needed.
It's two things that are limiting me at the moment - the breathing and I'm too tense. its definitely true that when I start to relax and just swim long lazy strokes everything becomes much easier. Its also true that my breathing technique is better than it used to be even if I still need to work on breathing earlier and thus give myself a longer time for a breath.
Ho hum ... 3km this weekend ... my longest swim ever!
