The children's home St. Nikolaus in Peciu Nou, Romania was founded in 1996 under the patronage of Caritas. Radu and Ani Miron are managing the house since then. Until today they have taken over 100 children into their care and raised them. All children come from socially disadvantaged families or are (half) orphans. In the children's home Peciu Nou the children are given care and support. They learn to take responsibility in pet therapy, they can express themselves creatively in art therapy, and they regularly go on excursions together and play sports. The kids are offered a stable safety net in which they can develop and realize their potential within a family and an intact social framework.
The whole project is mainly financed by donations. Unfortunately, these have become less and less due to the pandemic. The children's home St. Nikolaus in Peciu Nou has more and more difficulties to keep itself alive. The need is huge at each end - that is the reason why I would like to support and ask everyone for help. Please donate what is possible for you, so that the project can be sustained.
This is the only way to ensure that the children can continue to receive the much needed support also in the future.
I thank you very much and want you to know, that this is a really great cause you are about to suport!
