Dear friends and donors,

I've just requested another payout of 260 euros today, on November 3rd 2014.

As some of you know, Tik’s leg amputation surgery was performed a few days ago and everything went smoothly, even though he seemed kind of nervous and it took him quite some time to wake up from the general anesthesia. He’s been neutered as well, as it would be too risky to put such a young kitty boy under general anesthesia twice in such a short period of time. He will be receiving antibiotics and have his bandages changed daily over the next week or so, but hopefully he'll recover swiftly and this will be the beginning of his new, better life. Tok's eye (which has already leaked out), or more precisely what's left of it will be removed when she gets a little bigger and she'll be spayed at the same time.

Many kitties are not feeling well, they must be affected by the weather just like we are, so the oldest, chronically ill and disabled ones are having a hard time. Those with acute health problems are under treatment, but all we can do for the geriatric kitties, and we have quite a lot of them, is to feed them high quality food and give vitamin supplements to help them get through the day and stay with us for as long as they can. I fear this upcoming winter will be a rather sad and stressful one…

Thank you all from the bootom of our hearts for your incredible help and support!
