Make it possible for young people from Germany and Turkey to meet!

We are the central institution in the German-Turkish students and youth exchange. We are committed to ensuring that as many young people as possible from Turkey and Germany meet so that they get to know the other country, break down prejudices, make friends and grow into self-confident and cosmopolitan individuals. By imparting important social and professional skills, we enable young people to find their way in increasingly mobile, multicultural and digital societies. We strengthen the participation of young people in social life and in the positive shaping of German-Turkish relations.

With the Small Project Funding, we support German-Turkish exchange and encounter projects with up to 5,000 Euro. Cooperation projects between German and Turkish organizations are funded. The prerequisite for funding is that young people (14-30 years of age) from both countries are brought into the exchange - school or extracurricular, physical, hybrid or digital. Associations, schools or municipalities with their own project ideas can apply to us for funding. The projects are very diverse and range from street art, coding or sports to female empowerment and anti-racism. The funding can be used for digital projects, e.g. for fees for trainers or licenses for digital tools. In the case of physical encounters - as soon as they are possible again - the money can also be used for travel and subsistence costs for the participants.

So far, we have already brought over 10,000 young people and specialists to the exchange. With your donation you enable even more people to meet and enter into dialogue with one another.
