About this project

All nature lovers need an app so they can quickly and easily report damage in the forest. Our forests are threatened and need our help to have a future.

    1) Inform everyone where forests are threatened with a few clicks.
    2) See where others are standing up for the forest.
    3) Collect data for science.

We now want to make our website more user-friendly and have an app programmed for this purpose.
Our forests are under severe threat from construction, resource extraction and excessive logging. Yet healthy, stable forests are vital for the survival of humans and animals, especially in a climate emergency.

To ensure that forests have a future in our country, we want to use the app on to highlight grievances. Together with the voluntary Federal Citizens' Initiative for Forest Protection and Robin Wood e.V., we want to adapt the website and have a simple, new smartphone app (Android and iOS) created by the fall. This will make it easier for all nature lovers to report the damage when they are outdoors anyway. The programmers for the website and the app have already been found and would implement the project for a fair price. Distribution of the app runs through the cooperation partners, websites, social media, etc. Target is 100,000 users or more in 1st year.

With the collected data we show all nature lovers, authorities and media representatives that the destruction of our forests is not an isolated case and that help for the forest ecosystem is necessary nationwide.
