KALLE counseling center

As a counseling center, KALLE supports children and adolescents from alcohol-affected families in coping with their everyday lives and finding their own way to a life free of addiction. Every second child grows up in a family where too much alcohol is consumed. These children have many worries and fears. They notice that something is wrong at home, but can't find the words or don't dare to talk about it for fear of being laughed at, rejected or punished by their parents. At KALLE they find adults who listen to them, who do not judge, and who help them to put their experiences into words. They should not feel defenceless against their parents' alcohol consumption, but learn how to deal with it. The aim of the counseling is for them to return to their parents the responsibility they have automatically assumed for them and to concentrate on shaping their own lives in a positive way. Parents, relatives and professionals also receive counseling - with the focus on supporting the children.
