About us
At SUCHt & WENDEPUNKT e.V. there is help for children who are burdened by the alcohol addiction of a parent. For these children it is everyday life to take care of siblings, to do the shopping and not to be able to rely on their parents. Almost all of the children we deal with have already had the police at home because neighbors have complained - and many have called the ambulance more than once out of concern for a heavily intoxicated parent. Some also experience psychological or physical violence. Out of shame and fear, the children hardly dare to talk about it and often think they are all alone with this problem.
We are changing this through education, counseling and many offers for the affected children. Parents are also involved - with the aim of coming to terms with the addiction and being good parents.

Wir bedanken uns herzlich für die rund um Weihnachten und Neujahr eingegangenen Spenden für die KALLE Beratungsstelle. Die 3-Jährige Projektphase ist vorbei und wir sind dabei, uns in der Hilfelandschaft weiter zu etablieren. Eine Zuwendungsfinanzierung durch die Sozialbehörde sichert für 2026 unsere Existenz, wenn dadurch auch nicht alle Kosten abgedeckt sind. Wir sind also weiterhin auf Spenden angewiesen, um Kindern und Jugendlichen aus suchtbelasteten Familien beizustehen - Danke, dass Ihr uns dabei unterstützt!
