AMPO looks after up to 80 orphans and every child has the right to go to school. To make this possible, however, we need money. Unlike in Germany, school fees have to be paid in Burkina Faso, which are quite high. Primary school lasts 6 years and costs 300 € for a child. For 10 children, that is 3,000 € alone!
However, there is still a lack of school uniforms, pencils, school bags and much more. We are convinced that school is the first step out of poverty.
