Dear Donors, 

Once more, we would like to thank you for your support without which none of this would be possible. 

Due to the current COVID-19 situation in Brazil, we had to slightly adapt our project. The country being strongly impacted by the pandemic, planting in Brazil has become considerably more complicated than in the past. As such, after having discussed with our local partner we decided to reduce the number of trees to be planted this year in this country to 5,000 trees. 

However, despite COVID-19 tremendous numbers of hectares are still being deforested worldwide, which is why we chose to expand our reforestation scope to other countries. It is with pleasure that we would like to announce our collaboration with a new reforestation partner: Eden Reforestation Projects! This organisation has significant reforestation experience and is active in eight different countries. The remaining 45,000 trees of this project will be planted with their support in Kenya to tackle deforestation in Africa. 

Consequently, we will use the already collected money to plant the 5,000 trees in Brazil and begin with the plantation in Kenya.
