About this project

The Stuttgart Rugby Club e.V. is a non-profit sports club with currently around 230 members (women, men, oldies, children and young people). So far, we have come through the current corona crisis reasonably well with good budgets.

Nevertheless, we also notice that we have fewer new members than normal due to the limited offer. Due to the pandemic-related suspension of play and the unfortunately necessary cancellation of our annual "Alpi 7s Cup", we are planning to generate income from home games and from our 7s tournament omitted.

In addition, this year we are faced with a one-off unforeseen cost of € 2290 due to a special levy by the DRV (German Rugby Association) (decision of the DRV of July 18, 2020). In order to refinance these costs and to provide additional impetus for growth and further development in the youth sector, we ask for your support.

Because one of our main goals for the coming years is the constant expansion of our youth work. In addition to our existing youth training groups and teams, we want to playfully introduce under 6-year-olds to rugby sports under the keyword "rugby kindergarten". This requires additional, qualified coaches. All of our coaches are volunteers and put a lot of time and effort into their work. With the total amount of 900 € you enable the complete training of two coaches for an official DOSB C license. With your contribution you directly support the development of German rugby sport and the youth department at the Stuttgart Rugby Club e.V.
