About this project

What is needed:
Financial support for operational expenses of the Academy. For the 2021 academic year, we are in need of 10,000 €. We strive to offer affordable studies to as many students as possible, but we can only achieve this with your financial assistance!

About the project:
Following more than 13 years of diligent planning and preparation, the first lecture at the Messianic Jewish Theological Academy in the autumn of 2019 marked the beginning of something truly historic. Never before has there been a theological training center in Germany whose sole purpose is to train leaders for the growing Jewish Messianic movement.

The MJTA and our partners offer an internationally recognized Master's degree in Jewish Studies. Graduates of the Master's program will also have the opportunity to continue their education in the Messianic Rabbinate (Smicha).

The vision of Messianic Jewish Theological Academy is to see Jewish people being reached for Christ everywhere in Germany and to see the messianic movement being strengthened in order to be a great testimony of Jesus in the German society, thereby contributing to the overarching goal of the missio dei, which is to make God’s glory and His Gospel known to the whole world so that “all people might truly know God the Creator, love Him with all their heart, and live with Him in eternal happiness for His praise and glory”.

There is an urgent need for training Jewish-Messianic leaders in Germany because of growing humanism resulting, in part, from an understandable post-Holocaust hyper-sensitivity.  The leaders will be equipped to defend their faith and convictions to the Jewish community and the liberal ecumenical post-modern, (largely) post-Christian, German society.

Tuition fees for the Academy are low in order to enable as many students as possible to study at the MJTA. As such, tuition does not cover the operational expenses of the academy. Many of our employees are volunteers, and every effort is made to keep costs for lecturers (including international lecturers), translators, administration, and technology as low as possible. Nevertheless, we still need about 10,000 € for the 2021 academic year to cover expenses. We would be very grateful for your support!
