About this project

The corona crisis hit our music club very hard: all of our sources of income from various festivals disappeared overnight. No maypole festival in late April, no Waldenbuch Marktplatztfest festival in late summer... our music rehearsals for both the youth band and the city band have also been wholly suspended since March 2020. It is still completely unclear to us how and when things will resume normally.

Unfortunately, we are now under financial strain because of this. Even during the Corona crisis, we still must make payments and pay the bills: whether it is the advance payment for electricity and heating, annual lease payments, insurance contributions or other necessary renovation work to our building. We are still paying our conductor, for new sheet music, for repairs of instruments and much more, which in the current situation can only be compensated with great difficulty or not at all.

We are very grateful for any support of our volunteer work in the form of your donation. We would like to continue to be responsible for sharing the joy of music to our city and far beyond.

Thank you for your support!
