Due to the global emergency situation, which is especially hitting poorer countries like Ecuador very hard, we are collecting money so that our partner organisation Minadores de Sueños in Quito can provide care packages filled with basic food items to families living in 'Rancho los Pinos'. Many of the family heads are informal workers or street vendors with weekly wages, living from hand to mouth. Due to the curfew, many people no longer have jobs and consequentially no longer have money to buy food. Many of them have been spending days without eating.
We are therefore happy about anyone who can contribute to our fundraising campaign. 100% of the money will be used to finance food rations, which Marco, the director of Minadores de Sueños, compiles and distributes to the families.

Each food basket contains:
- 5 kg of rice.
- 2.5 kg sugar
- 1 lt. oil
- 1 can of tuna fish
- 1 tin of sardines
- 500 g pasta
- 500 g beans
- 500 g lentils
- 1 kg oats
- 500 g flour
